Today I hired a day labor worker for the week and the man they sent informed me that for almost 2 years there is hardly any work. He does not even bother to bring a lunch due to the lack of work. These day laborers make less than 7.00 per hour. At today's prices and living expenses you have to make over 15.00 per hour to even survive.
I have 2 brothers in drywall that are barely making it. One brother has a son that helps him on the job and he lives on a boat with no electric or fresh water.
